I came to your blog looking for the comedian by the same name. I’m an IT guy by trade so I don’t consider Google to have gotten it totally wrong, but I do enjoy the irony of the fact that the both of you are from Ireland.

How often do you get confused with Ed Byrne the comedian? I thought it would be a right funny joke to comment on your profile and suggest that somewhere in your profile (preferably at the bottom in small text for extra humor) you say, “I’m not the comedian you’re looking for. Go here” where here is a link to his site, but all I can find is an old website for the Pedantic & Whimsical DVD that Warner isn’t distributing in the US (bastards!).

On a more serious note, I’m adding you to my RSS reader. From skimming a few of your recent posts, your blog I’d say your blog is very vertical–so much so that it feels like a one-trick pony. Nevertheless, Web OSes are a topic that we will all have to become intimate with eventually, so I’m adding you to my RSS feeds for the time being. Cheers mate and keep up the good work.

P.S. You want to talk about irony? I just realized that the latest post on my blog (should be linked with my name. Won’t give the URL here so I can’t be accused of trolling) is the other Ed Byrne’s skit about Alanis Morissette’s song, Ironic. If that ain’t irony, I don’t know what is!
